Inspired by Mario “Liv It Up” Luna’s original Ultimate Party Crew and Dimensional Sounds member jackets, we collaborated with Made In Chi-Town With Love to produce our own party crew style jackets to continue this tradition. The design is based on the Chicago skyline, moon, and stars graphics from Beyond Heaven book covers remixed with intense stylized eyes sampled from UPC’s own original logo, included as homage to this crew originating in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago who contributed to the house music party scene of the 1980s.

We produced a limited run of these jackets on the occasion of our recent Beyond Heaven exhibition and book release celebration at La Esquina in Chicago. Due to a positive response to this release, we decided to make these jackets available to our wider audience.
